Josie is an incredibly talented wedding, elopement & lifestyle photographer from Central Florida. She approached our studio because she was changing the direction of her business and felt she was outgrowing her previous branding so that it no longer resonated with her, nor her target audience. Pivoting from Boho to Premium weddings, her brand and website were due for a refresh.
At first, the client contacted us inquiring about a Design Intensive Session. Given her clear vision and decisiveness, we agreed and prepared for our day together. A Design Intensive is a service where you book our studio for 8h dedicated to your project. You can read more about it here.
She wanted the branding elements to reflect her new business direction and her personality as a photographer so we opted for
PREMIUM, RAW, CANDID and TIMELESS.
We first presented her with a few concepts to review. The chosen logo concept was then refined and we created supporting brand elements to match its style. The whole process is super collaborative and requires quick decision making.
During our Intensive, we managed to create her essential branding elements which indluded a primary logo and its variations (secondary logo, wordmark, badge logo, icon), refined color palette, a typography selection and some visuals for social media.
The project was wrapped up with the file delivery and a mini style sheet, so the client always has their branding at hand.
Josie was so happy with the outcome that she hired us to re-do her website too!
The client was tired of the lenghtly and complicated back-end of maintaining her wordpress site so we decided to uplift her entire site and move it onto Squarespace. Squarespace is our go-to platform for designing websites as it is the most user friendly and our goal is that after a hand-off the client can maintain their site with ease. It is an all in one platform that covers everything from blogging, membership areas, email marketing and even e-commerce!
All of our websites are completely custom with simple elements of code so they are unique to your business but still easy to use and edit. The main focus of Josie’s website was displaying her services and her beautiful portfolio. We wanted to keep her website simple, but with a creative editorial layout to really compliment her photography aesthetics and not overpower it.
At studio Bressi we absolutely love connecting with other creative and passionate women and helping them bild a brand they are proud to show off. A brand that speaks to the right audience and a brand that is set up for success.
We are so so obsessed with the final results of this project and beyond proud of our dear friend Josie and her amazing business.
